In a brief snapshot, I am a proactive information professional with 08 years of post-qualification experience in managing and delivering library and information services, in the academic sectors in college and university libraries. My employers benefited from my managerial skills, team working spirit, customer-focused approach, and drive to implement emerging technologies. During my career, I had the opportunity to serve in senior library roles in the central library which is one of the largest employers. Libraries have provided me with insights into health education and research support. Throughout my career, apart from leading teams, I had the opportunity to carry out marketing, partnership work, technology implementation, training support, and resource procurement within complex scenarios.

I started my professional career in the academic library in a postgraduate college of Azad Kashmir, in 2015.

Currently, I am part of the university library which is responsible for acquiring both print and electronic resources along with managing all library technology portfolios; which includes library management system, discovery solutions, reading list software, and repositories. I have extensive knowledge and experience in developing and delivering ‘service-wide strategies’. Working in multicultural environments has also enhanced my communication skills.

My attached CV briefly explains my career highlights. I am confident that I will bring an impactful skill set to library services.
