INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMIMTTEE-IRC, Bogota, Colombia Aug 2020 – March 23 I was responsible for all financial aspects: strategic and operational in the country program, acting as the primary finance liaison for the senior management team, the Country Director, and the regional staff (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Peru), in addition to fulfilling with the IRC financial control environment and the CFO standard and objectives.

I strategically developed the administrative and financial direction that had to deal with preparation, budgeting execution, and organizational management. I oversaw the project s costs and conducted planning and financial analysis related to donor’s resources and Socodevi s budget. I Prepared financial reports on a regular basis to headquarters through JGO

(journal general operations) systems and those related to tax reports according to the Accounting Colombian law. I coordinated and oversaw the administrative and logistic process of purchasing goods and hiring contractors that furnished services to the company. I led the accounting process and supervised its personnel, including accounting outsourcing. Had control of cash flow according to the balances in the banking accounts of the different projects, in order to request money transfers from the headquarters. Dic. 2001- Feb. 2007 I Had comprehensive responsibility for the coordination, oversight, and reporting for all financial and accounting aspects of the US$ 88million Colombia Justice Sector Reform Program (JSRP) that consisted of 12 individual projects, in addition to the JSRP administrative costs budget of $2 million associated with office support. I Assessed all the projects in terms of obligations, expenditures, and reprogramming, compared with the budget. On a quarterly basis, producing financial reports to be sent out to the International Narcotics and Law (INL) office for inclusion in State-wide reports and used by ONDCP to report to the U.S. Congress. Planed and coordinated logistics activities for training programs to the Colombian government. Achievements:

•Created and implemented an infrastructure that provided the tracking, accounting, and reporting of the $88 million in the Justice Sector Reform Program.
