SKILLS

When serving, the skills I used the most was Multitasking while under high stress situations, while always being alert and aware not only of the customers I take care of but others around me too. I constantly was on my feet, remembering everything for each table, the tables could have anywhere between 2-40 people, and I had no less than 3 tables each shift. I have a strong work ethic so I'd pick up 4 to 6 tables at once, while helping and training other servers with their tables. POS skills, TBAC, FH Certificate skills, money skills, and balance skills were also used.

While working with LAZ, the skills I most used were being always aware and on the lookout. Most of the time I had to be vigilant and act swiftly to anything/anyone on the lot I was working. I worked as the security and sales attendant, I was incharge of handling a good sum of money for each parking spot used on my lot while also running everything smoothly. While doing Minute Maid I had to be more on my feet, running back and forth, recalling where each car goes; because in the lot I worked in was a VIP lot, where the owner JIm Crane, baseball players, governors and mayors- each had a specific spot. This happened almost every game, rain or shine. I still did my duties multitasking, recalling, sporting action, vigilant, and being in control of the whole lot.

Skills I personally use are having a strong work ethic. I love being busy with something to do, I'm the type of person who finishes my tasks i was assigned to do, and go find something else to clean/help/or do so i'm not just standing around. I love learning new things and finding more skills and knowledge I can use in my own life. I stay active and vigilant day to day, I love helping and making use of my knowledge in group projects. I'm very good at reading situations and de-escalating situations, as well as being very great at working with other people.

EXPERIENCE

RBIA Shades, Heights Houston events - Sales associate DEC 2022 - PRESENT

● I work here currently as a sales clerk being in charge of the whole store. I work both at a storefront, and events in houston. For events I usually stand outside promoting and actively persuading and selling our sun glasses. I talk and connect to people really easily, as I befriend and can relate to almost everyone.

● I'm very extroverted and always stepping out of my way to talk to someone just making a follower or a customer. I am always friendly and nice to everyone and some even told me they bought because they enjoyed my presence and the way I connected to them. Rain or shine, I still have a smile on my face trying to make someone's day.

● I still use most of these skills in our store front, it's a highly trusted job as I work alone for events and our store. I have to be incharge of money, sales, customer help, and influencer selling. The environments are always calm but if needed I will always take care and de-escalate situations and conflicts as needed.

LAZ PARKING, contract sites- Lot attendant

DEC 2021 - DEC 2022

● I worked as a Lot Attendant at the Toyota Center Downtown Houston for Rockets games and concerts. I walked around Making sure the lots were safe while also taking payments for parking. LAZ contracted with Toyota Center, Shell energy stadium and Minute Maid Park.

● APRIL 2022-NOV 2022 I worked in the diamond lott south parking lot right outside the VIP/ club suites entrance. My duties in this lott was to block off the lott to everyone except VIP personnel and players. We had Mayer, Governor, Travis scott, and many other VIP people I had to clear to security. They were on my list to be let in. I worked alongside Bomb dogs, Drug K9, Houston police officers, and Astro Minute Maid Park security. I was incharge of the whole lott, the safety was on me to let in only the correct people; so it was a highly stressed lott I handled astonishingly and effectively. I also had cones for important VIPs that I had to efficiently run to move them for each car, and had to remember each car and which parking spot they went in. I dealt with multiple tasks every day and was still the top employee.

● While working during the Astro baseball season, I worked the same Minute Maid lot with Shell energy Dynamo football(soccer) Stadium until DECEMBER 2022 followed by concerts from both Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park.

● ALSO while working all these, I still wanted more so; SEP 2022-OCT2022 I worked at Spirit Halloween as a sales associate/ team member.

Shogun, Mont Belvieu - server

FEBRUARY 2019 - MARCH 2021

● During my last year of highschool, I started working as a hostess and learned so much from this first experience. I've learned to be more extroverted and learned how to communicate and relate to customers. My duties were to sit customers down at a table, talk to the servers, take togo orders/ phone calls, pack and cash out togo orders.

● While being raised to serving, tasks just got more complex. I was constantly on my feet, remembering each table order and answering any questions. But once I quickly learned after the first 3 days, I had it all under control. I learned better techniques, was very impressionable on my customers, I started getting regulars, I quickly moved my way up to being as good as the year experienced.

● The tables could hold up to 2-40 people at each table, we were known to have parties come in and eat there. I never backed down from a large number of tables as I never let it get over my head. I constantly communicated to each table and if anything there was that I couldn't accommodate for I made sure they still got what they needed one way or another. I was known for being quick witted and an excellent multitasker.

● This job also teached me how to handle large sums of money each day, and how to handle high stress situations/conflicts either by staff or customers. I was often left on duty during break hour so it was mainly only 1 server during that time. I was highly trusted and easily managed each table I had, alone or in a packed restaurant. Always having a smile on my face ready to serve and help customers as they came in. EDUCATION
