I have more than 25 years’ experience with Global Vendor Management developing a reliable global supply base with thorough risk management and onboarding processes. I have worked in Global Procurement creating, developing, and managing the processes of strategies and metrics, strategic sourcing, value analysis, contracting, planning, procure to pay, supplier relationship management, policies, and processes to drive savings and support company goals. Working globally, I have experience in researching, evaluating, sourcing and contracting vendors that promote optimization of the company goals. including vendor management for over 25 years.
Working with this supply base we can identify opportunities for cost savings, reductions and promoting efficiencies. In addition, we negotiate and establish KPI’s and SLAs to monitor the vendor’s performance. We report on all key metrics to help senior management understand the current state of the supply base. Our trained Procurement teams use best practices and metrics to meet the demands of continuous improvement, managing risk, quality, service, cost and management of our vendors. We have managed and negotiated multiple million-dollar contracts from strategic sourcing projects for equipment, travel, professional services, facilities, hardware, and software at the same time to drive savings, contract improvements and metrics. I work closely with Legal and other internal partners to provide best in class pricing, KPIs and SLAs in all agreements. By utilizing strategic sourcing, market research and analysis, we can identify the best suppliers and best practices. Building supplier/vendor relationships we can accomplish projects and high-level business priorities. We drive RFP/RFI, strategic sourcing, compliance, maintain supplier quality and performance. As a strategic thinker, I have been able to establish policies and methodologies to globally secure the products needed. I have negotiated with companies for software, hardware, datacenters, benefits, facilities, leases, finance, legal, marketing, colocations, ERP, consulting engagements, travel, travel cards, etc.
I collaborate regularly with Managers for the Finance, FP&A, Travel, Engineering, Legal, Sales, IT, Information Security, People and Operations departments, with cross functional teams to establish their procurement needs and develop their specifications/requirements, to manage risk, spend and vendor management. I have created travel policy and expenses by partnering with a travel management company and establishing a travel card for use by employees, to bring savings to the travel area.
I have created, developed, mentored, coached, managed, and trained departments that have grown to 15-20 trained buyers, senior buyers, managers, analysts, and vendor managers. I have implemented Workday HCM and Core Financials (Procurement) in two companies. In addition, I have experience working with NetSuite, Ariba, Concur, SAP in addition to Workday, training all end-users on the processes, procedures, and software within the company.

I manage long-term supplier relationships that hold the suppliers accountable for their performance metrics through contractual KPI’s with Quarterly Supplier Business Reviews. I believe it is important to do the research, analyze, forecast, select the right supplier, negotiate a contract with the most favorable terms and to hold the suppliers accountable. I am experienced in negotiating Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work and Order Forms.
