I served residents meals in the dining room and took their orders. I delivered food across the building to those who cannot leave their rooms. I communicated with people who were hard of hearing or needed help understanding. I also had to find help when residents fell or had problems and once gave the Heimlich to a resident who was choking. I also kept the serving area clean, reset table settings and cleared trash in the building.

I helped others come closer to Jesus Christ and God by teaching them the gospel of Christ and inviting th0em to act on their faith by making changes in their lives and entering into the church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. This involved talking to people in English and Spanish at their doors, on the street and in their homes, coordinating with members of the church to help friends we taught, teaching about God and Jesus Christ, teaching English classes to people in need, serving others and the community, communicating with people in many different circumstances (some slightly hostile), and teaching and inviting people to pray, read the scriptures, come to church, be baptized, and follow Jesus Christ to the end of their lives. This job was voluntary and I received no pay.

I volunteered every Monday during the school year from 5-730 at Santa Cruz Hope Church and taught kids to skate.
I do service activities with my church: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, often and have done service for neighbors, fellow members, and Brook Knoll Elementary.

I was Boy Scout Senior Patrol Leader for a year for our church troop.
At my church I plan activities and teach lessons for the youth members.
I was a leader for the Skate Church event at Santa Cruz Hope and help keep kids safe as well as teaching them tricks.
