Banking experiences included customer service, business development, marketing, collections, installment lending, mortgage loans, and business loans. Last three years was a platform officer directing teller line, customer service on checking, savings, CDs along with mortgage loans and new business function.

Building business was a financial debacle caused by low working capital, poor managerment and extreme inflation of the Carter Administration. Bought out other investors in effort to salvage company. Shuttered the business year end 1978 with a $184,000 deficit. Refinanced the debt and paid off over next fifteen years.

Last four employers were all textile oriented with the last three---industrial textiles. Bibb shuttered their manufacturing operation freeing me to move to Uniroyal as Quality Engineer. After two years was promoted to Plant Superintendent of a 320 employee, three shift operation. Left Uniroyal to be Plant Manager of Fabric Designs. Patio furniture fabric plus filtration with cut and sew of filtration was Fabric Designs product line. Formtec was a start up where I hired and trained forty employees. Spent a total of three months in Finland on three trips learning new technology to implement in Georgia. Product was formng fabric---a conveyor belt for the front end of a paper making machine. Was Plant Manager with complete manufacturing startup that included installation of machinery and equipment, raw material and personnel.

The next twenty years saw me acquire rental homes in Southwest Atlanta. Being semi-retired, I managed my properties which included upkeep and renovation. Qualified many homes as Section 8 and kept houses rented. Of the total of thirty-seven houses bought during this period, fifteen was the most at any given time. I would keep the houses as rental property, for varying duration, ultimately selling them to other investors or tenants.

My life has seen many phases. In each transition, I have been successful and have learned nuances to the field. Having a unique ability to draw from past experiences and processes, problem solving was my strong suit. My educational accomplishments and work experiences put me in a better position at this point of my life to succeed. Although I enjoy very good health and retain mental acuity for my age, physical activity is more limited. Because of this, segueing to a work from home vocation is possible and desired. Customer service where I can use my listening and problem solving skills seems ideal. Data entry is another possibility because of my organizational and attention to detail skills. Let the next phase of life begin!
