Working in a busy environment ensuring the personal development of children/young people under the care of SOS Children’s Village. Responsible for ensuring a holistic development of children/young people, guiding their transition into adulthood and independent life by providing various programs and services for their development. Duties included:

• Working with the caregivers to assess the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs of each child and young person

• Conducting adherence to drugs classes, focus group discussions and give vital information when required by whoever visited the resource Centre.

• Receive patients coming to the clinic, assist them with registration process and direct them where they needed to go to receive the medical attention they came for.

• Sought patients’ files direct them to appropriate consultation rooms and put tiles safely when they were done.

Ration Monitor (in the food security program) 2003-2004 Duties included:

• Verifying foods and other commodities and checking scales.

• At distribution points, monthly, supervised distributors seeing to it that they gave right quantities of rations according to family sizes.

• Two weeks after each distribution I did monitoring at household level randomly visiting 10 households in each community. The purpose was to check on the commodities they received, verify if it was enough to last a month and assess if the household was eligible to be on the program.
