RE: Recommendation for Employment for Michael C. Santoian
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in reference to Michael C. Santoian of Watertown, MA, who informs me that he is interested in employment for the city of Waltham. I have had the pleasure of being good friends with Michael's parents, Michael and Kathy, for over 50 years thus knowing Michael since birth.
As a retired police lieutenant for the town of Watertown and adjunct lecturer for Western New England College I have found Michael to be intelligent, conscientious, and a caring individual. He always willing to do more than what is asked of him.
Given the opportunity, I am sure he will prove himself a credit to any position he would be qualified for. Therefore, I recommend Michael C. Santoian to you without reservation.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.

RE: Character Reference for Michael C. Santoian
To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Michael C. Santoian for more than 20 years. He is one of my dearest and closest friends and we grew up together in East Watertown. We have remained close friends to this day and I would say I know him as well as anybody. He has always been there when I needed him and vice versa. He is a person I will always trust in and stay in contact with until I leave this earth.
During the time I have known Mike, he has been honest, trustworthy and loyal. He is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected of him. He is respectful of his superiors/elders and gets along well with his friends and colleagues. His thirst for knowledge about how to achieve his goals and complete or overcome a task are unfounded.
I know he has a strong work ethic and takes charge of a situation if needed. Though he is educated and has a college degree from Northeastern University, he always loved the idea of physical work and building or constructing something, to feel as though he achieved something of value at the end of the day. This is mostly in part due to his Blue-Collar upbringing and his love of his grandfathers who were part of the "Greatest Generation." He is a good person to confide in and will always give you the realistic advice or opinion he may have to help in a tough situation. We have and will remain close as we get older.
If any additional information is required concerning my association with Michael, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Kenis

STATE STREET.

To Whom It May Concern:
I started working at State Street since August of 2015. I have known Michael Santoian since then and I have worked with him for two years on many projects. He is a highly motivated individual. He has always done his best to make sure all projects were successfully completed in a timely manner. He would always try and see if there were better ways of completing and streamlining any processes. This has helped many people, including myself, with certain processes that were very manual. Michael's attention to detail has helped catch many errors in the programs we use. He had also helped test certain programs as well to help ensure that the fixes were indeed working correctly. He is always a team-player. There have been many of times where he had assisted me with my tight deadline projects. I could always count on Michael whenever I needed help urgently,
In addition, I personally have always found Michael to be very honest, reliable, prompt, and dependable. He has always come through when asked for help on very last-minute requests and projects. His work was always done very well and efficiently.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be more than happy to discuss anything further for Michael's suitability for the position.
Sincerely,
