Payroll Specialist - Full-Time

•Check and response Email daily.

•Check timecards U-Attend daily for Temp onsite.

•Prepare the temp pay file for the clients weekly.

•Submit the final temp pay file for the Client's HR

•Collect timecards for temps in house accounts.

•Prepare the payroll report weekly & submit it.

•Handle for the adjustments of sick leave and back pay.

•Report Covid-19 cases and Process Covid-19 Pay for Temp.

•Process the Bonus Pay for Temp few quarters in a year.

•Submit Back Pay Clients sheet for few times in a month.

•Manage and train two onsite staffing specialists to help maintain client accounts.

•Source and search for qualified candidates to work at client locations using online job databases (CareerBuilder and Indeed.com). Prescreen and interview candidates before sending them to onsite interviews.

•Perform E-verify to establish U.S employment eligibility as well as maintain I-9 records.

•Conduct new hire orientation: Create new badges for employees using U-Attend Management System, prepare Meal Period Wavier forms and Employee Acknowledgement forms. Also lead 1-hour long orientation in company's policy (Overtime, Sick Team, Meal Periods, Injury/Accident Reporting, Timesheets, and Disciplinary Action).

•Process application forms and enter new hires in Payroll System (Temps Plus), check and audit timekeeping records for compliance with established standards.

•Clear employees’ hours and sick leave hours into temp pay file and enter sick leave accrued. Printed out the timecards report and enter employee’s worked hours into temp pay file excel for weekly payroll.

•Take care of terminating and returning all uniforms (equipment) to the client.

•Drop checks and hand out checks for employees every Friday.

•First or Second responder to urgent situations such as accidents, injuries, & disciplinary actions
