SKILLED LABOR ASSOCIATE, WEGMAN CONSTRUCTION INC. (CLAYMONT TRAIN STATION) Carry, load, unload and stack materials. Lay out material and assist carpenters. Dig with pick and shovel. Shovel, rake, spread and vibrate concrete into place. Climb embankments and ladders to carry material to various work sites on project as needed. Jackhammer and saw cut concrete. Clean up project site of debris. Strip wooden forms and remove nails. Concrete work, rebar, trenching, and grubbing for general landscaping. MAY – AUGUST

GENERAL LABOR ASSOCIATE, NPSG/AMAZON/PEOPLE READY

Responsible for Pod assembly in a fast-paced environment. Built and assembled shelving made of metal and fabric. Production-line oriented environment in a warehouse that is not climate controlled. Ability to work well with others/pairs to assemble each Pod, which becomes part of the customer’s warehouse inventory management system. Generally recognized by management for leadership roles in the position because of being punctual, reliable, safety conscious, and a team player. Physically capable of repetitive work that includes lifting, pulling, pushing, and using hand tools such as hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks. While being in a warehouse environment typically in the construction phase and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
