Objective

AS A PROFESSIONAL CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER, I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT I CAN GROW PROFESSIONALLY AND RESPECTFULLY BE A PART OF A CARDIOVASCULAR TEAM. I FEEL MY YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CAN BE AN ASSET TO THE ESTABLISH IN WHICH I BECOME A PART OF. MY HOPE IS THAT I CAN EXHIBIT THE EXCITEMENT I HAVE FOR THIS PROFESSION. Experience

Waverly Health Center (Jan. 2023 – Nov. 2023)

Cardiac Sonographer: I performed echocardiograms on adult outpatients and inpatients. This included assessing normal and abnormal functions of the heart. Many examples included assessing the heart for structural and functional abnormalities such as valve regurgitation, stenosis, ejection fraction, PFO, and thrombus. Some of these studies would include full studies, limited studies and bubble studies.

Unity Point Health Systems (Oct. 2021 – Jan 2023)

Cardiac Sonographer: I performed echocardiograms on adult outpatients in the outpatient cardiovascular center. These studies included assessing normal and abnormal functions of the heart. Some of these studies included the use of contrast, as well as bubble studies. As a part of this team, we shared responsibility for completing reports, processing reports, billing studies and providing doctors and providers with completed reports.

Bremer County Sheriff’s Office (Jun. 2017 – Oct. 2021)

Service Manager: I was responsible for the daily service operation of daily operation of the county jail. This included hiring potential employees, processing background checks, ordering supplies and creating schedules for staff. A large part of this position included maintaining a weekly budget

Mercy Medical Center (Sept.1996 – Jan. 2000)

Respiratory Therapist: I was responsible for creating and implementing the pulmonary rehabilitation program. I was also responsible for assisting with the cardiac rehabilitation program, which included cardiac teaching and monitoring clients during exercise conditioning.

RT Associates Inc. (Nov. 1989 – Nov. 1995)

Clinical Coordinator/Respiratory Therapist: I was responsible for scheduling, staffing and training respiratory therapist in various hospitals within the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolis, which included more than 13 various hospitals. This included practicing respiratory therapy in adult and pediatric units as well as intensive care units.
