Sage Properties

A $250M real estate management firm independently owned company, with locations throughout southern Califor- nia, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. Sage Properties is the premier real estate company for private in- vestors.

2010-Present

Duties: Provide oversight of the daily operations and financial stability of a multi-site portfolio and strategic leader- ship of 8,300 Multi-Family units and over 200 Single-Family Homes; including HOA Condominiums (Class A/B/ C). Also; oversight of a portfolio of Commercial Properties (Office/Retail/Industrial) (over 5.5 Million Square Feet). Office: 1.5 million square feet, Retail: 3.5 million square feet and Industrial: 550,000 square feet. Mentor a team of approximately 43 direct employees including: asset manager (4), regional property managers/supervisors (8), property managers (18), project managers (3), general managers (4), building maintenance (6). I resolved signifi- cant safety concerns regarding all properties immediately upon sight or notification. Numerous of the properties were plagued with safety issues and concerns. I was tasked to manage the properties and rectify the problems. I reviewed prior safety reports and implemented a maintenance walkthroughs schedule for three times per week for six months. These micro-management techniques along with upgrades and renovations rectified the safety con- cerns, thus receiving the Most Improved Property Award from the National Apartment Association. The safety and security of the guest and owners while vacationing at the resorts was priority number one! The resort property team of approximately 22 direct employees (general managers, front/back office managers, reservation supervisors, maintenance managers, housekeeping managers, and real estate agents) reported to me on a daily/weekly basis.
