I, Suzanne Coggins, worked as Customer Service Representative at Consolidated Metco for approximately 2 years. During this time, I performed the following duties and tasks:
1.I answered the phone and emails for customer orders and concerns.
2.I entered orders into the computer system for all customer orders to ensure production had sufficient lead time for filling orders to be shipped out. In addition, I also coordinated with the shipping department to verify that the shipping date could be met.
3.I handled customer complaints, to ensure the customer concerns were addressed and a resolution of the problem was satisfactory to the customer. When complaints arose, Quality was alerted and a corrective action was determined and put into place.
4.EDI orders were also received daily via email and SAP computer system. These orders where entered when received and shipping dates confirmed.
5.Inventory Control was also part of the customer service duty, as some orders received were needed to be expedited. Therefore, parts were needed to be located and verified. Inventory Control consisted of daily cycle counting and inventory adjustments; whether increasing or decreasing, to verify inventory numbers were correct. Inventory Control is an ongoing duty that is needed daily.
6.As an additional duty, I was tasked as an auditor, cycle counter and data entry clerk on all plant shut downs and periodic inventories.
I had also worked as shipping clerk at ConMet for approximately 9 years. Shipping clerk duties consisted of all billing and paperwork for all shipments leaving the facility.
Prior to working at CONMET, I worked at Jackson Paper Mfg. Co. (PCA) as data entry clerk, billing and customer service representative for 8 years. I also worked as Assistant Production Manager. In this capacity, I was responsible for employee work schedules and vacation time. I oversaw daily production scheduling and customer orders. I also visited the Valdasta, GA plant to coordinate new computer programs to link both plants together for filling corrugated box plant ordered.
