Home care in the absence of the host home provider whenever necessary for the provider to have extended time away from client during vacations, sick time, and emergencies.

Respite workers function much the same as the host home provider supporting the clients on an ad hoc basis when the host home provider cannot be there.

Administrative Assistant Supervisor of Section Services, Benefit Programs: University of California Office of the President 1988-2000

My duties as SSBP Supervisor were to intake all written inquiries from staff employees, new hires, faculty, regents and retirees relative to any departments under benefit programs . Our job was to open mail and determine to which department it should be routed, assign a benefits action traction number then distribute the correspondence to staff based in alpha numeric split within the specific department specializing in the services required. Section services was also responsible monitoring turnaround and processing of resolution prior logging out each inquiry received and processed. Reports created on an ad hoc basis. These departments included Special Claims, Refunds, Customer Service and Records Management. I also procured supplies for all four departments.
