We are in the development and maintenance of data warehouse for the client KBC, Belgium. We are maintaining the domains (Information layers-IL and Staging area) Router, IL Markets, and IL Risk. Branches and Subsidiaries of KBC send data files to the Router. These files are then routed to the IL Markets and other Information layers. IL Markets and other domains process these data files and pass them to the staging area, IL Risk. All these data files are processed in staging area of IL Risk and finally loaded into Transport Database (TDB). The data is informational data (Business data) that comes from heterogeneous sources located in different parts of the globe. At each IL and in the staging area, ETL is performed.
