Boarding Merchants onto a new Payment Platform for E-Commerce transactions
Managed successful pilots of boarding Merchants onto a new payment platform that will allow for the processing E-Commerce transactions for the various card brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Japanese Credit Bureau (JCB). This is a white label solution acquired by JP Morgan from MasterCard
Researched Shopping Cart Brands that have been pre-certified to support various card brands onto the Payment Platform
My responsibilities were to prepare a project plan that outlines the various teams involved in implementing the E-commerce platform for Canada
Determine resource allocation needed for the implementation
Determine the milestones that were necessary for boarding Merchants
Held weekly meetings with Canadian and US team members on progress made
Interacted with external vendors (Visa, Master Card, Amex) assuring their components will adhere in processing transactions

This project allows for the capturing of Merchants email addresses into an online portal that will be utilized as the desired method of future communication. At the same time the portal provided an option to accept Merchants desire for Electronic Statements
The project is inline with the business direction to be environmentally friendly with paper reduction and at the same time minimize on paper costs. The project will also net a total reduction in ongoing communication expenses
90,000 Canadian Merchants have been contacted with a high volume of acceptable responses
My responsibility was to summarize merchant information within the Canadian market who were currently processing paper statements

Visa Contactless MSD (Magnetic Strip Data)
As of October 18th 2019, all U.S. and Canadian payment devices accepting contactless payments must accept EMV contactless payments. The legacy magnetic stripe data (MSD) contactless will be retired as per card scheme mandates. This requirement only applies to U.S. and Canadian terminals with contactless capabilities
The project was assigned to support Merchants who were granted a waiver an continue to process MSD transactions. There was a great potential for key clients to be impacted by thousands of transactions who were not EMV compliant (Smart Chip)
Working in collaboration with internal and external vendors the solution was implemented as planned with no reported impacts the Merchants. As an end result, the Merchants were able to conduct business as usual
oMy responsibility were to interact with vendors who wanted to continue processing MSD transactions and to understand their reasoning ( In all cases these vendors were processing high volumes of transactions
oDetermine timeline as to when these vendors with be compliant in processing EMV transactions
oPrepare a spread with Merchant information and date of being EMV compliant. Review this information with Sr Management

Managed data flow of pricing information from central systems to the stores nationally. This may include up to 5,000,000 transactions daily
Led the design and development of shelf labels being displayed at the stores. Worked closely with Marketing stakeholders to re-engineer this UNIX based system into a robust windows system
Designed and managed product ordering systems that automatically replenish inventory at the stores. Ordering quantities could be in access of 1,000,000 items daily to satisfy the demands of over 1500 stores. This system used in-house software tools that allow the store associate to order quantities based on the planogram configuration of shelves. Height, width, and depth were major factors for the algorithm used to calculate shelf capacities and space optimization.
Managed the development of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) system from conceptual design to feasible studies onto functional design, development and implementation. A project that took 2 years to complete with a budget of $500,000
Managed the data flow of sales transactions between the stores and central systems across WAN channels
Worked with external vendors with the implementation of 3rd party software solutions including mobile solutions for data queries
Captured data information directly related to President Choice points awards for data mining activities performed by the business community
Executed the implementation of a pharmacy scanning system to capture sales of prescription drugs being sold at the pharmacy.
