I managed multiple Rent to Own stores from South Carolina to Illinois. I began my career with Rent-A- Center as an Account Mana ger. Once proficient, I was promoted to Assistant Manager which shortly after I became the Lead Assistant Manager before taking over my first store all within the first 5 years. I specialized in bringing stores that had dropped in sales up to corporate standards, ultimately turning the store into a positive cash flow. In addition I effectively motivated employees in performance excellence, meeting and exceeding sales and collection standards that fostered a team environment focused on group success. I was consistently recognized for my ability to hire and retain employees who were dedicated to the day to day operations.
Throughout my tenure with Rent A Center, I was involved with in-house marketing and advertising sales and promotions. As a Store Manager and District Manager I was responsible for all inventory for up to 9 stores at a time. I was responsible for all recruiting and hiring, succession/improvement plans, and terminations. I was recognised for embracing our top training program for new employees and the ability to teach, train, and coach current employees to reflect the parent company’s “Center of Excellence” standards and develop them as our future leaders in Rent-A-Center. I negotiated working partnerships with local vendors to meet local demand and maintained those relationships made at the corporate level.
My background also includes HR duties such as setting employee salaries based on local markets and corporate policy as well as managing overtime and scheduling needs. As a manager I was also responsible for analyzing the profit and loss statements to make decisions that would improve the financial bottom line.

I would receive all claims that come in from the brokers who represent the companies with 500 or less employees. I would scrub the data down to get just information necessary to provide a quote. I would also provide the quote to the broker based on the information provided to see what plans each company would qualify for. I would send the options to the broker to offer each company. This would have to have revisions made as needed to fit their specific needs such as deductible, in and out of the network, and see if we could package dental and vision or single quotes. Concierge

As an independent concierge in Orlando Fl. We would have contracts with hotels, resorts, timeshares, welcome centers, condos, and conventions centers. We would be a full service concierge to every guest from all of the world. Weather assisting with a busy family vacation or dinner reservations for someone passing through or working.
I would sell all theme park tickets such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventures. SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. We would book tours in the Everglades or salt water deep sea fishing. Rental cars, reservations to one of the dinner theaters or just a good pizza place. There is so much to see and do in Orlando Fl that it can be overwhelming for tourists. It was my job to meet them and build a relationship at the time they arrived to assure I was there to help them and also know they would buy tickets needed through AGS.
