Objective

My Objective has been to work for a company that has the potential for growth in the field of Safety and Health, in the Construction Industry, and to provide a company with an excelled Safety and Health Program in the (Power Generation, Petrochemical, Coal, Oil and Gas) industry, along with the General Construction Industry. I have over 35 years of experience in the (Oil and Gas, Cryogenic Plant, Petrochemical, Coal, Nuclear industry, Wind Turbine’s) as a Crane and Rigging Supt., While attaining my Associates Degree in Construction Safety and Law. I was promoted to Safety from the field, as a Safety Tech after acquiring my Associates Degree. I worked in the Houston, Baytown area until I gained experience enough to be put into a leadership role with my own projects. I was moved to Regional Safety Manager for one of the largest Industrial Construction Companies in the World, Flour Daniels Power. My experience as a Crane Operator, Rigging Supt, helped me further my position with the company as I could inspect the rigging and crane’s as a Qualified Competent Person. I oversaw all Critical Lift Procedures, with the Crane and Rigging Superintendent’s. I was also able to teach and explain the seriousness of all Lifting Program’s. I have worked as a Safety Specialist setting up Projects and Corporate training programs and the bidding, of Safety contracts. I have established myself as one of the top Safety Managers with Companies, Achieving 2 (one) million-man hour projects without an OSHA Recordable Incident. I have completed my CSHS, (OSHA, Certified Safety and Health Specialist). MANSFIELD PA. and The MARCELLUS and UTICA PA. CRYOGENIC GAS PLANTS. I worked for Shell/SMS, and assigned to the Appalachian/Marcellus/Utica Pa. Projects in upper state Pa. My responsibilities were with Facilities, Construction and Pipeline Safety, and the construction of the Cryogenic Plants. I dealt with the training and actions of each subcontractor’s individual safety representatives and employees, with how they met Shells safety training along with their representation of their company. I was making sure all job sites were meeting the rules for Shell, Energy Transfer, and other regulatory procedures that have been set in place as they do their work on each site. I managed goal zero safety training with all sites and to have a complete understanding for success. I was the lead Safety Tech in charge of all my sites (6), and to check all work procedure permits that were needed especially in the new Cryogenic Plants that were being built. I was in charge of the Pipelines coming into the Cryogenic Plant. I was Safety Tech. over all conditional training for each site and designated all controls for hazards that might become a problem during the work in progress. I was also doing daily inspection on all pipeline trenching and excavations and major fuel tie-ins. I was under the direct authority of the Project General Manager. I also set up all safety management programs to present to the owners and investors of the Cryogenic project. I also initiated all permits prior to being signed off on for field site work including Hot work Permits, Confined Space, 02 gas procedures, etc. and all Crane critical lift’s that were on all sites.

I also set up all Safety Relations dealing with each subcontractor dealing with our Master Safety Training, Program. I trained all Management, and level 1 employees to for Safety on Drilling, Gas Rig set up’s and dismantle and moving, with all the requirements for Critical lifts.
