JBA is a start-up construction company started by a former colleague and developer. Bringing their project owner relations, the company developed a joint venture agreement with Andersen Construction for over 150 million in project work that is currently underway.

EXAMPLE PROJECTS SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED

Office

Creekside 4 ($3,000,000.00). Make ready and repositioning of an existing 60,000 SF suburban office building, including new main lobbies and elevator lobbies, new restrooms, and new exterior upgrades. Amberglen Office Park ($5,000,000.00). Make ready and repositioning of existing 600,000 SF of suburban office buildings including new main lobbies and elevator lobbies, new restrooms, and a new amenity center including café, yoga studio, gym, and training center

Telestream ($1,700,000.00). 20,000 SF, Class A office TI, delivered during the start of COVID. Significant labor and supply chain challenges had to be overcome to deliver this project to the client on time and within their initial budget.

Multi-Family

University Crossing ($17,500,000.00) Suburban, 4 story, wood framed

(panelized), structure consisting of two separate buildings and 59 market rate apartments. The entire site contained a shallow water table requiring an elaborate dewatering plan which allowed for the installation of all underground structural elements and utilities while maintaining the overall construction schedule and minimizing impacts to the project budget. Burnham & Ash ( $22,000,000.00) Suburban, 4 story, wood framed

(panelized), structure consisting of two separate buildings and 165 market rate apartments with tuck-under parking and minor retail located on the ground level. Site was upgraded with 338 geo-piers. The entire site contained contaminated soil so a CMMP was strictly adhered to. Park 19 ($28,000,000.00). Urban Five over one, podium style apartment building consisting of 102 luxury units, and a 60 spaced below grade parking structure. Site was upgraded with 303 foundation piers and 45 perimeter load bearing piles.

Ladd Tower ($87,000,000.00). Downtown, 23 floor, luxury apartment building with 4 levels of underground parking. Structure consisted of 23 stories of PT deck with a mix of curtain wall and stone façade. Retail Development

Grand Ridge Plaza ($180,000,000.00). Retail shopping center composed of over 325,000 square feet of commercial space in Issaquah Highlands, Washington. Project included more than 45 commercial lease tenants. Greenway Town Center Renovation ($3,500,000.00) Renovation of a 93,101 square foot commercial shopping center in Tigard, Oregon. Project included addition of a Whole Foods in place of an existing grocer. Commercial/Mixed Use

Fanno Creek ($19,000,000.00) Suburban tilt up office building consisting of 160,000 SF of leased space.

Park 19 ($28,000,000.00) Urban wood framed apartment building consisting of 102 luxury units, and a 60 spaced below grade parking structure. Site was upgraded with 303 foundation piers and 45 perimeter load bearing piles. Auto Dealership

Holman Auto ($1,300,000.00) Renovation and refresh of the main showroom building along with the Service Department and two support buildings. Renovations included all new lighting, fresh paint and flooring, and new bathrooms in each building. All scope was performed in a phased manner to reduce the impact to day to day business and customer service. Buick GMC ($700,000.00) Phased renovation of existing service department while dealership as well as service department remained open for business.

Due Diligence/Pre-Construction – Owners Representative Multiple mixed used projects in the Seattle area involving a mix of upscale retail, office, and multi-family housing. Duties included estimating, designer selection and management, general contractor evaluation and selection, and permitting.

Hotel

The Hoxton, Portland ($60,000,000.00) Seismic upgrade and change of use of historic URM building into a 119 key boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Portland. Hotel included one high end restaurant and two bars including a rooftop bar with custom fire pit and exhaust system. Marriott ($500,000.00) Restaurant change of use.

West End Building ($5,000,000.00) Seismic upgrade of 100 year old, 5 story, 58,000 SF, URM building.

Structural/Misc. Metals

Marriott Hotel ( $150,000.00) PT Concrete Slab water intrusion remediation. Oregon State Hospital ($3,500,000.00) Structural contract. Seismic upgrade, exterior pre-cast erection, interior demo and structural addition, structural erection and upgrade of existing and new stair towers, canopies, and roof structures.

NOAA Headquarters ($1,500,000.00) Structural and misc metals contract. Pre-Cast tilt panel erection, interior structural steel frame erection with slab on metal deck installation, joist and girder erection, and metal roof decking installation. Project was complicated with high winds and hazardous weather during erection causing safety concerns and crane cost management issues. REFERENCES
