A Parking Production Assistant (PPA) is a frontline crew member that makes it possible for hundreds of fellow film and television industry workers to report to film locations to perform their jobs. To clear any film location of vehicles or obstacles that would obstruct film production vehicles/trucks and crew members from parking safely and with ease. To provide 24 hour access to any location at anytime of day or night. A PPA is actively working during the preparation of film production location, while active film shooting is occurring and post production wrapping the location. To perform various additional duties including establishing and developing a relationship with the community that lives and works in the film location. Preparing the community by informing them how long production would briefly be in their neighborhood, providing security for production equipment well as various other related duties.
