NUVEM, Mt. Laurel, NJ / Sharon Hill, PA 2022 – 2023 In 2022 Apovia merged with 340B Technologies (DBA 340Basics) to formulate a new company called Nuvem. Nuvem’s Industry leading 360-degree comprehensive 340B pharmacy service model helps optimize the financial viability of FQHCs, improve patient clinical outcomes and maintain strict 340B regulatory compliance. Played a pivotal role in the successful integration of Apovia and 340Basics to formulate the newly branded company called Nuvem. As VP of Pharmacy Development was the principal author in drafting the value messaging used to market and sell in-house pharmacy services by the Nuvem sales and marketing team.

• Sold and procured inhouse pharmacy management service agreements with 3 Federally Qualified Health Centers customers and successfully presented to support sales team efforts for inhouse pharmacy services with 2 other FQCHs with a collective annual projected revenue of $3.5 M. APOVIA PHARMACY SERVICES, Sharon Hill, PA 2018 – 2022 Specialized in setting up and managing in-house pharmacy services for Federal Qualified Health Centers. Instituted a comprehensive service model designed to optimize 340B revenues and patient clinical outcomes. President and Chief Pharmacy Officer

Oversaw the development and implementation of a successful pharmacy service offering that complemented the medical home model followed by Federally Qualified Health Centers to improve the medication needs of the FQHC patients and generate needed revenues to help expand and improve access to medical services for the underserved. The success of this model is evidenced in the growth of Apovia’s revenues.

• Spear headed business development activities that more than doubled the company revenue from $4.1 million to $8.7 million and increased EBITDA margin from 18% to 25%. within 3 years.

• Instituted 2 successful clinical pharmacist programs to provide direct and population-based care for a remote blood pressure monitoring hypertension program and a clinical diabetes clinical program. The HTN program improved HTN control from 40% control for all hypotensive patients to 70% in 1 years from the start of the program

ACRO PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES, Sharon Hill, PA 2008 – 2018 Specialty pharmacy that offers customized services and cost-effective healthcare management solutions to payers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, providers and patients. Vice President, Business Development

Led business development strategy, identifying synergistic opportunities with current and new customers to expand service capabilities and improve operational efficiencies. Managed a team of three in pharmacy client relations and contract management. Contributed to annual specialty pharmacy revenue growth from $12M to $220M over nine years.

• Procured 33+ drug manufacturing contracts ranging from access to limited distribution medications, data service fees, clinical service fees and payer formulary rebate management resulting in $1M+ high margin annual revenue.

• Evolved business model from an exclusive pharmacy provider in narrow payer networks to larger network presence. Increased payer network status: Commercial insurers- 100%, Tricare- 200%, Medicaid- 200%, Medicare Part D- 30%.

• Supported the marketing and sale of the company twice, in 2011 for a sale price of $33M and in 2016 for $75M.

• Increased industry awareness of the company by creating and managing program content for 8 Managed Care Specialty Pharmacy Symposiums, 16 company sponsored health care programs and 10+ industry conference presentations.

• Developed moderator guides for 20+ specialty pharmacy advisory programs and conference panel discussions for key health care stakeholders on coverage and spending trends, impact of health care regulatory reforms. JERINI US, INC., Morristown, NJ 2007 – 2008

Subsidiary of Jerini AG, a privately held pharmaceutical company based in Berlin, Germany, focused on the discovery and development of novel peptide-based drugs.

Medical Service Liaison (MSL)

Conducted pre-launch activities in a 12 state service area to prepare the market for the introduction of the company’s first pharmaceutical product, Icatibant. Responsibilities included engaging Key Opinion Leaders

(KOLs)- allergists, hospital pharmacy directors, emergency room physicians - that treat patients with the ultra- orphan disease, Hereditary Angiodema (HAE) to raise awareness of the role Icatibant, a Bradykinin 2 blocker, could play in the management of HAE.

• Facilitated a two-way scientific exchange with KOLs relating to the pathology and treatment options for HAE to create market awareness for Icatibant through meetings, conferences.

• Developed a market research strategy to identify the number of HAE patients in the MSL service areas which increased identified patients from 200 to 2000+.

• Created market intelligence reports that included identified HAE patients, allergists educated on bradykinin blocker role in managing pathological effects of bradykinin in HAE and feedback from KOLs to strategically guide marketing efforts.

PERFORMRX / AMERIHEALTH MERCY, Philadelphia, PA 1999 - 2007 PerformRx is a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) dedicated to clinical culture, boutique service and holistic solutions. Manager of Injectable and Specialty Drug Clinical Programs Managed and trained a staff of five pharmacy technicians, three pharmacists and one nurse case manager in managing specialty drug coverage operations. Developed and presented at P&T Committees injectable medication prior authorization protocols and formulary reviews based on clinical efficacy, safety and cost.

• Generated $3M in annual drug cost savings through effective prior authorization, formulary management, distribution coordination with specialty pharmacy networks and nurse case management for Medicaid health plans for 750K lives.

• Developed 10+ comprehensive medical management cost saving strategies for the most expensive specialty medication therapeutic classes used to treat a variety of diseases including Hepatitis B and C, Pulmonary Hypertension, RSV, HIV, etc.

• Streamlined pharmacy claims system to increase efficiency of generic injectable medication prior authorization process. Reduced department workload, increased patient access to medications and improved pharmacy billing.
