04/2018- 01/2021
09/2016- 08/2017
CPS Teacher:
Worked with grade levels kindergarten through 4th grade. Addressed the specific needs of students
when regular classroom instruction was not sufficient. Worked with the teacher to design methods of
learning that are most appropriate for each child. Attended and participated in all staff-based meetings,
presentations, and communications to ensure team success. Spoke with and maintained contact and proper
communication with parents to ensure student success.
Managerial Assistant/Secretary/Receptionist at Swedish Covenant Hospital:
This employment consists of making and handling all phone calls, providing great customer service,
scheduling appointments for 4 doctors, verifying patient insurance, checking, and entering patient
information. Took care of coding and billing and communicated with adults and children daily to explain
appointment and treatment options. The systems and applications that we worked with required constant
rebooting, re-plugging, reimaging, rebooting and from time to time just replacing parts. I had to be able to
figure these things out as soon as possible so we could get on with the day and meet customer needs. If help
was needed, I would discuss with coworkers to best resolve problems.
Gear Up Freshman Connection tutor (Later promoted to Freshman Connection Managerial Assistant):
This employment consisted of working with a large team, tutoring 7th, 8th grade and high school students.
Managing the Freshman Connection program by recording daily attendance of students coming into the
program through Microsoft Excel, directing students to their assigned classroom based on recorded data,
taking, and fulfilling orders on time from the manager, recording and submitting attendance on time,
gathering and providing documents on time to teachers and students and making and documenting phone
calls to parents to invite students to the program and report student absences. Promotion was largely in part.
due to timeliness of task completion and ability to offer strong customer service as well as student results.
