Brief Profile

My key areas of experience include:

Supervision, collection, interpretation and reporting of cuttings lithology and mud logging services.

Supervision of the electric logging, wireline logs, interpretation, and distribution of all wireline logging data. (GR, Neutron, Caliper, CBL, composite logging, etc.),

Daily reporting to the drilling manager and exploration manager.

Supervision of coring and core analysis.

Developing correlations (Cores and Logs), Master log interpretation, Formation tops identification, and preparation of ‘End of the well final Reports’.

I Have supervised the geology operation in more than 120 vertical wells, and 2 horizontal wells.

I am used to be working in an international environment and have been working in cooperation with companies like Schlumberger- Ana drill, Halliburton-Sperry-Sun, Baker Hughes Intec, and Precision Drilling Services.

I’m fluent in French, English and Arabic and I have worked in various multi-disciplinary team environments.

I am willing to mobilize to any location with rotational (28/28-21/21).

My availability is two-week prior notice.

My main responsibilities:

Accountable for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.

Responsible for monitoring and reporting examining, describing, logging, and supervising the collection of all samples and core taken

Responsible for detection and recording all hydrocarbon shows; ensure all gas detection and mud logging equipment is calibrated and working correctly.

Responsible for the correlation of geological and biostratigraphy data with that of any nearby wells.

Mud logging: Well site Geologist will supervise mud logging services and ensure maximum useful output of geological data in a cost-effective manner.

Job Experience:

2002-2006: I worked in all of the Algerian basins (Triassic basin, Berkine basin, Illizi basin, Mouydir basin, Ahnet basin, oued mya basin, Benoud basin, Timimoun basin and southern east constantinian basin). I identify all their stratigraphic columns and reservoirs characterizations both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, I was rented to foreign oil company (golf keystone) based in tebessa (Ferkane field) to work in three wells.

2006-2011: I worked in many first wells in new prospects, unconventional hydrocarbons wells (tight gas wells in Ahnet and Timimoune basin), I saw all of basin basements in ILLIZI basin, and I supervise all of evaluation's logging and test operations.

2011-2016: I worked in shale gas Ahnet project (HT-1, HT-2) with Frasnian hot shale cores target program and canister sampling, I worked in new virgin basins (Bechar basin, Tindoufe basin and Taoudini basin), including correlation challenge, and a heavy cores program, I worked in HPHT wells in Berkine deep wells project (the greatest depth I drill is 5900m). For 1 year and half I work in stratigraphic wells in off shore and tell domain department at Sonatrach exploration division.

2016-present: I work in Bechar basin, Gourara basin.
