JV Operations Business Support

Demonstrated Improved Growth:
• Work with the various Unit Managers to collate information required for the preparation of the annual business plan for Operations recurring Opex and projects cost. The information is analyzed and inputted into EPIC.
• Bringing under control the direct Operations Expenditures for the Operating Assets (upstream and midstream) totaling >$700MM annually.
• Establishing guidelines and fundamentals for tracking and monitoring actual spends versus budgets as well as working with the asset owners to review trends and make corrective actions.
• Realign budget values based on directives from Planning/Corporate/Partners. The direct and common cost realigned values are allocated to the various cost centers.
• Set up Project AFEs (NMA-36) including Cost Tracking (TTD), and Cost to Completion (CTC), cash calls, sponsors estimates (accruals) and C&E Reporting.
• Provide AFEs performance report for EGTL Technical – Design Eng Coordinator for the monthly LT meetings.
• Forecasting, budgeting and tracking costs of a major re-entry project totaling over $1b.
• Prepare schedules that allow monitoring not only work performance but expenditures vs budget and communicate with project engineers deviations from plans.
• Review and approve invoices (CWT’s in e-procurement) from contractors for MCP’s as well as working within my assigned group to perform monthly sponsor’s estimates, cash calls, budget negotiations, monthly reporting of performance of activities and ad-hoc interfacing with Joint Venture Partners.
• Worked within the Company system (JDE) to perform AFE supplements as well as initiating new AFE’s
(NMA-36).
• Managing costs for MCP and MEJ’s for small projects (>$5MM < $10MM) within the re-entry period.
• Prepare Work Programs for each NAPIMS Budget Line Operations is accountable for after the Budget is approved. We also defend the budget values during NAPIMS engagement.
• Generate the monthly OPEX Report for EGTL Opex and Project cost, review performance and account mapping and make transfer of charges when potentially incorrectly posted charges are identified.
• Monthly review of overrun AFEs for possible supplement or transfer of charges
• Booking of monthly Value of Work Done (VOWD) for the EGTL Projects.
• Prepare the performance work programs for NAPIMS engagement.
• Coordinate Technical engagement between NAPIMS Gas team and EGTL
• Collation of all support document required to support the various budget lines for both Opex and CAPEX. This supporting documentation comprises copies of Contractor Work Tickets (CWTs), Vendor invoices, time sheets, Work Orders, Contracts supporting the charges and other attached documents.
• Liaise with NAPIMS on monthly Opex and Technical Project activities and financial performance.
• Provide trainings to the Operations Opex Champions on how to analyze and query the monthly Opex report generated.
• Reconciles the monthly NAPIMS mapping and ensures accuracy and completeness of transactions and balances.
• We provide guidance on costing postings. We assist with the set up and closing of cost centers and AFE accounts.
