As a lead tech at AdventHealth I am overseeing that the sterile processing department at AdventHealth operates according to AAMI, Joint commission, and other organizations standards. I assist the department by following the daily priority list to ensure all trays get completed by the time they are needed for surgery. Additionally, I tend to the needs of our technicians with all their questions about instrumentation, sterilization, and decontamination. I create schedules for the staff on 1st and 2nd shift I order instrumentation needed for trays.
