DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

General

Read and understand the terms and conditions of contract scope of works and other documents forming part of the contract. Dos & Don’ts. Understand compensation mechanism and its application completely and correctly. Provide assistance to Project Manager/Project Control Manager where necessary to prepare, publish, enforce, monitor and continuously improve customized Project Control Systems, procedures and guidelines that may be specifically required for a given project. Assist the Project Manager/Project Control Manager in establishing the Project execution plan that is optimized in terms of cost, time, risks and profitability in addition to safety and quality.

A. Valuations/ Progress Billings

Coordinates with different departments: Construction department/Engineering, QA/QC, Accounts and other related departments for progress billings and claims purposes.

Prepares interim payment application to client with proper attachments as for the substantiation of quantities claimed

Responsible for monitoring evaluations and assessments to all subcontractor’s claims and then preparing progress billings which requires coordination with the subcontractors

Review, verify, negotiate, respond, approve or reject sub-contractor’s progress measurements, valuations, variations and claims

Evaluates and issue variation order and subcontractors instructions

Coordinates with the subcontractors in terms of reconciling quantities and amounts claimed

Prepares payment certificate for subcontractor’s monthly claim until finalization of their accounts.

Assists accounts department on the scheduling of payment to subcontractors.

Conducts site visits for payment processing and for monitoring actual progress needed for the preparation of claims to the client.

Prepares data and reports needed for cost analysis using actual progress payment certification register of various subcontractors.

Provide calculation sheets and justification of quantities to substantiate claims required for re- measured form of contract.

Assist the Project Managers for their quantity requirements and site progress. B. Change / Variation Orders

Assist PM/PCM in implementing system/procedure necessary to track all changes after the award of contract to the project scope, drawings, specifications, data sheets, project quality or quantity or schedule or any other obligations whether initiated by Client or internally, positive or negative to achieve absolute traceability of changes. Ensure that proper supporting documents for all changes from the originators of the changes are received, verified, approved/rejected and filed in a systematic and organized manner. Maintain registers, files and documentation related to all changes from the original scope whether it is originated by Client or internally and issue periodic management reports
