MAINTENANCE MECHANIC: Trident Seafoods – Anacortes, Washington (May 2023- Current)
Primary responsibilities working on rebuilding parts and providing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance. These machines would include dusters, conveyors, batter applicators, batter mixers, nothum (breading distributor), adcos (fills the product in the boxes, box makers, chop saws, gang saws. Maintenance on these would include checking the structural damage on guards and replacing them, greasing and testing the bearings, lubricating and loosening or tightening the chains, replace broken or damaged parts, make sure all machines are level, rewiring metal belts by hand up to an inch thick, etc. Basically, did whatever it took to make the machine work again or just do regularly scheduled maintenance. Used a large variety of tools such as rachets, wrenches, greasers, pliers, saws, hammers, etc.
