Conducted a wide range of services relative to the presence of environmental lead. Conducted lead inspections on behalf of the State of Rhode Island and, as an authorized agent of the State of Rhode Island, I inspected residential and commercial buildings and land and issued Lead Free Certificates, Lead Safe Certificates, Lead Conformance Certificates or reports denying such certificates which would contain the reasons for failure, the time allowed to make corrections to the properties and, where appropriate, instructions on how to make said corrections. As owner of this company, I also employed three Lead Inspector Technicians who could assist me in conducting these inspections. I also performed inspections of large housing complexes, including large public housing complexes that were owned and operated by government municipalities and the federal government. Additionally, I was authorized by the State of Rhode Island to conduct educational classes required to be completed by Rhode Island landlords under the state’s lead mitigation laws.

Performed approximately 2000 real estate closing for various banks and lending institutions. I was responsible for examining land evidence records to confirm legal ownership of the properties being transferred and would conduct the closings on behalf of the lenders, by composing all of the documentation required by the lender and ensuring they were correctly composed and completed. I would then take the funds given to me by the lender along with any other sums contributed by the buyer and then would distribute that money properly to all individuals and entries being paid from the closing proceeds.

Criminal Prosecutor

As prosecutor for the Town of Smithfield, I was responsible for the prosecution of all criminal matters brought on behalf of the town. In that capacity, I worked closely with the police department by evaluating each case and the quality of the evidence, negotiating plea bargain with attorneys and/or defendants and trying cases against accused individuals.
