The projects contracted for total over $500 million dollars. Project types include Main Exchanges, RV Parks, Army Lodges, Golf Clubhouses, Community Activity Centers and Personal Storage Facilities.

I prepared and issued solicitations, task orders, negotiate terms and conditions and prepare final contract documents. During contract administration, I perform a complete range of functions: ensured the contractor follow-down of the contract terms and conditions, and negotiated contract extensions and modifications; monitored the contractors’ performance during design, construction and warranty phases by site visits, progress reports and coordination meetings. I served as team leader to two contract specialists and provided mentoring and technical guidance in contracting policy and procedures. I had a limited dollar warranty authority of $25,000,000 for all contractual action and unlimited authority for placement of delivery orders for competitively awarded contracts or agreements. I was the contracting officer for the design and construction of the FY10, New 1000 Room Lodging Facility at Ft. Lee, VA. Estimated construction cost $100 Million Dollar.

I also contracted for architect and engineering services and design-build services for the development of two Army Warrior Zone programs which was approved as FY09 NAF Major Construction Projects, $8M and $10M respectively. This new prototype facility will provide soldier entertainment centers in support of the military personnel.
