When a customer is upset and wants to speak to a manager I ensure that something can be done to calm them before further action is required. Warranty Administrator duties include responsibility for communicating with aftermarket warranty companies sold at the dealership, securing replacement parts, and repairs for defective merchandise. Coordinate with the manager and prepare a repair order for authorization as per warranty requirements. Ensure customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with all warranty specifications. Prepare documents for all warranty papers and mention repair order number and date of replacement. Ensure all parts are inputted into the system and put with the correct vendor. Contact the warranty company to see if repairs are covered under a third-party contract. Collecting payment on all service repairs including customer pay and warranty deductible. Updating customers throughout the repair process, if parts are on backorder or not.
