Work Experience

2016 – current Care Assistant (Geriatric) Maiti Nepal (NGO) – Biratnagar, Nepal

Maiti Nepal special focus has always been on preventing trafficking for forced prostitution, rescuing flesh trade victims and rehabilitating them and caretaking of old senior citizens.

Providing special care to rescued or victimized women in terms of health and sanitation, emergency first aid, and Hygienic care.

Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.

Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication.

Ensuring the client’s room is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place.

Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.

Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.

Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs, make sure they are mentally and physically heathy.

Compiling and preparing the checklist and presenting them to the manager and next shift staff on a daily basis.
