-I was in the Honor Society role through out my four years or studies.

-Big Sister and Big Brother

-Jewelry and Cultural awareness club, Latin Groove, Volleyball team, Interior Design club, and the Plant Based club.

-Volunteered in the Beast Cancer Walk. Some of my achievements are awards from PAL’s PC – PAL/NYPD.

EXPERIENCE

YOUTH LEADER – SCHOOL PROGRAM.

October 2021 – March 2023

A small group and I of other pears helped freshman students navigate and adjust to the school. If students needed help with homework, had any question or needed guidance, we were there to help him. I also do different activities with the students. The purpose of these is to make new students feel welcome to our school, that way they can also feel comfortable talking to us. We tried to make them see us as their friends instead of an authority figure.

TEEN CHOICE – SCHOOL PROGRAM

Oct 2021 – March 2023

A small group of students including me worked with high school students of all ages. We teach them how to avoid toxic relationships and how to seek help if they were in a dangerous situation. We also focus on the emotional aspect of the students; we try to help them to stay positive and continue to motivate them in their classes or to do whatever they want to accomplish. We also bring awareness of mental health problems, and we also try to help them develop making good decision skills. Teaching them the consequences our actions have, along with some cognitive behavior.

This program also provides counseling for students so they can express their feeling and be in a place where they can feel comfortable and not judge. We do community services to inform local communities of the many opportunities they have at their availability.

BABYSITTER

2020 – present

I help my mother take care of my little sister. Care for a girl, ages 4, during parents’ work schedules Friday and weaken nights.

Ensure children are bathed, fed prior to parents’ return.

Create games and read to the child.

Clean and organize the house whenever is necessary.
