Work Experience

Walmart Stocker

Walmart - Nashville, TN

February 2022 to Present

Preparing the back where the team starts is important. It helps to set up the carts and pallets when Unloading the truck. We use an assembly line while unloading usually its me by myself or a few other people who may take on the truck. While the others grab boxes from the assembly line and place each box in their department. Each pallet has to be organized for when it's ready to be taking out to the floor for Stocking. When the truck is done from either 2P.M-4:30P.M/5:00P.M, everyone is assigned a department that has to been done within their shift.

Chop't Creative Salad Company - Nashville, TN

June 2021 to July 2021

Full time- when my shift starts, trash would be the first on the list if it is overloaded in the front and back of the restaurant. Preparing the dish area with creating space for more dishes, I would grab dishes from the front of the building bring them towards the back to wash. When dishes are broken down I would stack them onto the shelves properly. I'd sweep and mop the floors during the day to keep it manageable and clean from all the food and liquids. Before leaving work I had to make sure all dishes were clean and stacked where they belong, trash has been taken out, floors are swept and mopped, the dishwashing machine is clean and broken down for the morning shift. We would make sure there was no bathroom, dorm that wasn't up to its cleaning standards which came with sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning the bathroom mirrors, restoring tissue/ toilet paper, replacing trash bags with new ones, etc.

Dishwasher

Saints - Nashville, TN

March 2020 to June 2021

Before the store opens and the day gets started, we would either help prep food, do assignments, or set up the back where dishwashers at located. Getting the day started and prepared is very helpful when it starts to get busy it makes everything go smoothly and creates more space and time to help waiters and cooks. We sit bus tubs out in the kitchen so the cooks can place the dishes they're done with into them, which they're either very hot to take to the back or too heavy which the bus tub helps a lot with that. Restoring silverware where waiters could easily get them to go. Sweeping and mopping the floor was mandatory throughout the day to keep the back of the work area clean. We would separate all the dishes based where they belong either inside the kitchen or in the storage unit which made team work easer on both dishwashers, waiters, and cooks. When it's getting close to close up time, we (dishwashers) would make sure to finish the dishes, store them, clean the machine only if it has not been cleaned in the earlier shift, when the dishes are done we'd move to the floor area and get the rugs that we stand on, take them to the back spray them off with water then roll the rugs up store them in the back to be ready for the next day. The last task of the night will be to sweep, take out trash replace with new bags, spray any trash that may have been in the dustpan. Clean the tables that waiters put dishes for us and leave the inside pieces of the machine on the outside. Make sure that the buckets we use for plates, silverware, ramekins, etc are cleaned and stored for the next day. Team Member

strike out wings - Nashville, TN

September 2020 to November 2020

My position was a cook. I was new to a new company that was currently growing at the same time. Before my shift begin I would make sure my area is clean with the chemicals on the writing rules, check the trash

(if trash, took it to the dumpster and replace with a new trash bag. "Strike out wings" was mainly chicken based, making sure there was always stocked food, desert, plates, silverware, gloves, etc. When it was close to the time my shift begin I'd always make sure the bowls, and silverware used to make orders were properly washed, my order line was clear of all orders, floor swept and mopped. When the shift begin my job was always to make sure the food is cooked how the customer pleases, under customer service time and out for the cashier to give to the customer who name is on the ticket, there were fish, wings (BBQ, LP, Lemon, special sauce, Hot, Mild, etc.) Desert: cakes, cookies, etc. Warehouse Worker

Nashville wire

August 2020 to September 2020

Everything in this particular warehouse unit had to be done with team work or else everything would lead to one group being behind which cost a lot of product to not ship as scheduled. Everyone had an important job there were fork lifters, metal benders, people who grabbed iron off the hanging racks, wrappers (people who wrap the done product for delivery, ETC.). This job had plenty of opportunities to become anything if you showed thre dedication and effort for what it is you're aiming to become. Benders- people who bend metal into the Debo machine until it's fairly even, when done, we had to organize oven racks, when you've completed 80-140 racks per box, then wait for them to get picked up by one of the fork lifters.

Krystal’s - Nashville, TN

January 2020 to June 2020

When the day first began, mornings were the busiest of all shifts. Preparing was an important part of the day for any shift. Making sure we have a load of biscuits, eggs, bacon, etc. while the cooks prepare the food (including me), Cashiers would count their registers, make sure it's the perfect count of dollars, change, etc. Everyone had an important role for every shift everyone is doing something to help the team. After the food is prepared, I'd go around check to see if we need a morning sweep and mop in the dinning room for the loyal customers and guest. Making sure tables are cleaned with sanitized water and a washing cloth, bathrooms are clean and restocked with tissue, soap, and new trash bags. The grills had to preheat, the grease had to be renewed the night before or early mornings when a manager gets to work had a different impact on how the day would go with the customers. At the end of anyone's shift every employee made sure that their area is in good condition for the next employee to come in and get started setting up before he or she begin working. Prep Cook/Cashier

7 hills pool club - Nashville, TN

April 2016 to July 2016

My day began early in the morning therefore before my shift started it was mandatory to prepare for the day by making sure that everything was stocked; food, drinks, deserts, bread, candy/ snacks, cups, plates, silverware, etc. Once everything was stocked it was important to clean any mess from the last shift (dishwashing was apart of my job, wiping off the counters, etc). Once the day begin, I'd have to multitask between the grill, and cashier making sure I get customers and guest name and order correct. Once It gets mellow throughout the day after multitasking the whole shift, I'd restock everything and repeat the same cleaning pattern to stay focused. At the end of the shift I'd always make sure there's a full kitchen of what's needed, lock the windows, sweep/ mop the floor, clean off floor mats and roll them up for the next morning, begin sweeping and mopping in the kitchen onto the play area Inside when end of shift I would make sure everything organized and stocked for the next morning. Clock out time was important to make sure everything is secured how it says on the rules. Education
