New staff from agency and of our own are acclimated to the building, team and residents. Following through with walkie-talkies, keys and magnets. You will work with the entire team to develop who and what times the residents will be getting up ready for the day down to meals, laundry, showers, etc. The flow of the building with meds and meals is not correct. The person in charge for the day will be the Lead Med Tech. Responsible for all first aid kits making sure everything is not expired, all check list is up to date, all refrigerators temperature and log sheets are up to date. Assign staff to their floors and residents. Complete all tasks that are assigned by the supervisor. Evaluate the performance of other employees and provide training for new employees. Provide the doctors and their PA with the resident’s charts, health concerns, fax orders/ meds/ audits, etc.
