I do have experience with being the first point of contact for employees as prior to Bristol Myers Squibb going to a self-service operating model, I used to be the first person a new hire would meet and I would review their paperwork was correctly entered in our HRIS system. At that point in time, I also gave a presentation on history, benefits and policies to new hires along with a quick tour of where to find things at the location.
