WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Feb 2023 to Present – C.A. Murren & Sons Co., Inc. Project Engineer position in the Fort Jackson – Reception Complex Phase I project in Columbia, SC. In charge of daily site work reporting, RCP installation, storm sewer structures, grading, GAB installation, coordination for testing, cost codes reporting, payroll timecards approval, equipment daily checklist and inspection reports, administration of RFI’s and Submittals. In addition, keeping the equipment, material, and tools procurement process in good standing to get the materials on time and when needed. Subcontractor coordination, relationship between Owner Rep and contractors. Project Cost: $10 Million

· April 2020 to December 2022 – Southland Contracting, Inc. A Project Engineer position in the SunTrax Testing Facility project in Auburndale, FL. In charge of daily Submittal & RFI documentation program in liaison with Florida Turnpike representatives and CEI. In addition, keeping the material procurement process in good standing to get the materials on time and when needed. Project Cost: $150 Million

· March 2021 to September 2021 – Management Solutions, LLC. Project managed and administered by CEU Providence, RI. In charge of inspection services provided at 19HSB Major Repairs to Building 681, USCG Base Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. Inspection services to ensure compliance with contract documents and inform the Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative(s) if these requirements are not being met. The inspection services were coordinated by the Construction Project Manager and/or Contract Specialist assigned from CEU Providence.

· July 2015 to April 2020 – Southland Contracting, Inc. A Project Engineer position in the West Ashley Sewer Tunnel & Influent Pump Station project in Charleston District. In charge of daily tunneling work reporting, administration of RFI’s and Submittals. In addition, keeping the material procurement process in good standing to get the materials on time and when needed. Contracts generation and subcontractor coordination, relationship between Owner Rep and contractors. Project Cost: $65 Million

· May 2013 to June 2015 – Housing Department Sub-director at Municipality of Guaynabo. In charge of low-income rehabilitation program, including bidding process, progress inspections and government permits. Contracts generation and subcontractor coordination, relationship between architect and general contractor, development of change orders. Also, in charge of preparation for federal funds reimbursements.

· July 2011 to May 2013 – Central Group Engineering Services. In charge of the inspection at Schools for the 21st Century Government of Puerto Rico in Dorado area. Duties include project inspection, quality control, and cost analysis for change order approvals and certifications for payment, daily and monthly reports, and document control for the owner (AFI). Project Cost: $6.8 Million

· December 2010 to June 2011 – Eng. Miguel Bonilla, Inc. In charge of the inspection at Vega Baja Wastewater Treatment Plant. Duties include project inspection, quality control, and cost analysis for change order approvals and certifications for payment, daily and monthly reports, and document control for the owner (PRASA).

Project Cost: $3.5 Million

· August 2006 to September 2010 – Resident Engineer at Diaz & Associates Engineering Services. In charge of the inspection at Ciudadela – Santurce, PR. Duties include serving as project engineer at construction field office. Responsible for quality assurance surveillance and supervision of two construction projects. Maintain surveillance over work of contractors to assure timely completion of projects in accordance with plans and specifications. Exercise surveillance to assure that contractor is conducting quality control operations to produce work in conformance with plans and specifications. Review contractor quality control reports and test results for completeness and accuracy. Supervise the preparation of construction progress reports and takes action with contractors as required to maintain contract schedules, project inspection, quality control, cost analysis for change order approval and certification for payment. Also, keeping daily and monthly reports. Owner document control (MREM).

Project Cost: $200 Million

· February 2005 to August 2006 – Resident Engineer at Inspection Department, Iglesias, Vazquez & Associates. In charge of the inspection at PRASA’S Wastewater Treatment Plant – Utuado, PR. Duties include project inspection, quality control, and cost analysis for change order approvals and certifications for payment, daily reports, and document control for the owner

(PRASA). Project cost: $35 Million

· February 2003 to February 2005 - Project Manager, LEMA Developers & Associates. In charge of coordination of several contracted companies, to develop a new living project in Bayamon, PR. In addition, we are in contact with every government agency to get the necessary endorsements from PREPA, PRASA, Fire Department, etc., to obtain the use permit of every building in the closing stage. Also, set-up coordination of permanent maintenance directive, to create a reliable community association for proper management of the above-mentioned living area. Project Cost: $34 Million

· October 2002 to January 2003 – Project Manager, E & M Group at Puerta Real Condominium, Rio Piedras, PR. In charge of coordination of subcontractors, works related with the relationship between the owner, architect and the general contractor, development of change orders and coordination with the suppliers to receive the material on time and when needed. Also, in charge of the preparation of payment certifications and coordination between the supervisors to get a normal progress of the construction. Project Cost: $12 Million

· May 2002 to October 2002 – Project Manager, E & M Group at Westernbank Expre$$o Branches. In charge of coordination for the opening of eight new branches in the metro, east and north side area of PR. In addition, we were engaged in getting the construction and use permits for each branch.

· March 2001 to May 2002 - Project Manager, E & M GROUP at Siemens Transit Partnership, Tren Urbano Project (Martinez Nadal Station, Torrimar Station, Civil Work at Bulk Power Sub Stations and other civil related infrastructures). In charge of project management, field inspection, coordination between designers and contractors and other related activities of a design/build project.
