VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

● Experience working with different organizations in Louisville (Mostly providing interpretation services virtually and in-person) for immigrants and refugees who speak Swahili, Kirundi, Kinyarwanda and French.

● Collaborated with the ACLU group to raise human rights awareness in the community.

● Completed a volunteer program with Habitat for Humanity group, and assisted families from diverse communities. Community cleaning, helped in building new homes in the community. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Catholic Charities of Louisville Migration and Refugee Services ( Refugee Resource Delivery Associate. Jan 2023 – Current.

This is a driving and administrative work position accommodating newly arrived clients settlement in providing the basic furniture and household needs to clients, to ensure that each refugee resettled by MRS is provided with all necessary services and is assisted in overcoming all barriers to achieve a successful resettlement in the U.S. Also works as a support to the rest of the case management team in the fulfillment of Core Services as described under the Cooperative Agreement. Other duties related are as follow:

● Bridging the gap in communication between staff and clients.

● Help with lease signings for clients

● Documents all substantial contact with clients in case files, computer databases, and any required forms.
