In my previous role at JIS medical in Medellin Colombia, I helped in post-operative treatments and invasive procedures including visiting patients post op. Duties also included administrative tasks such as preparation of management and medical agendas, confirming appointments with patients and doctors, referral of medical history and records, receptionist, networking with management and dealing with outside vendors and providers of services.

Beyond the hands-on post-operative treatments and administrative successes, I assisted with several clinical responsibilities, including monitoring patient follow-ups and preparing progress reports. This ensured that patients were comfortable and educated on the treatments they received. I also met with patients to answer questions regarding recommended practices, ways they can manage their health and how to take any medication if needed.

I would like to be upfront and admit my proficiency in the English language needs improvement. The opportunity would also help me to continue improving my proficiency.
