OBJECTIVE

I am a dedicated person interested in pursuing a job that allows me to use my skills to benefit the company

SKILLS

Communication skills- working in the medical field I have had to encounter all types of different backgrounds and cultures. I had to adapt and learn how to cope with all different types of situations. Along with verbal communication we also had to write formal letters for patients/customers jobs, court and legal forms and documents.

Technical skills-

Throughout all the jobs I’ve had I had to learn different computer systems such as cash registers, a warehouse database, Microsoft Word and excel as well as a documenting database called “Epic”

Organizational skill-

The medical field has helped me with this skill a lot. There is a lot of filing and keeping track of forms, letters and important documents.

I assisted as fit. I was to help out in check in and check out where we would obtain all of the patients information/ verify if the information in the chart was correct. Working at Podiatry Associates I have also learned to set up a room for a minor procedure and also assisted the physician in the procedure.

Working at Mercy my key role was to obtain vitals and documents from patients and input all information into a database called “Epic”. I also worked in the front office checking patients in, out and rescheduling appointments along with the front office I also worked in our high volume call center receiving, transferring and making appointments.

As a picker I was issued a pick slip on a hand held scan gun. The handheld gun gave me a location. I had to then find the location, scan the correct item and place it into the order bin when the order was complete. I was to put the tote on the belt and the tote would then go to packing. I had to reach a quota of 180 units (items) an hour regardless of how many tasks that would require of you. The tasks ranged from 1unit- 250units all depended on the demand level in the warehouse due to online orders.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP

I participated in several leadership/ volunteer roles I assisted at our local P.A.L center. I help kids with homework and different arts and craft activities. Also participated in an internship at Halstead academy as a 3rd grade teacher’s assistant. I was awarded a tassel to wear during graduation recognizing me for being one of the top 10 in my graduation class to obtain the most community service hours during the duration of the school year.
