STATISICAL MODELING EXPERIENCE:

Policy analysis and econometric modeling. Over 15 years of experience applying the following statistical techniques: ANOVA/MANOVA, Multivariate Regression (including OLS, WLS, GLM, Simultaneous Equation Estimation, Path Analysis, Non-linear Modeling, Poisson, Logit/Probit, Bayesian Regression), Structural Equation Modeling (using AMOS and SAS PROC CALIS), Propensity Score Analysis, Heckman Adjustment for Selection Bias, and Survival Analysis.

Time-series forecasting. Build analytic datasets using queries (SAS-callable SQL - PROC SQL, PL/1) to extract data from IBM-legacy and Oracle databases (Version 10x).

Developed the concept of "stress clusters" to assist the Under Secretary of Defense (Personnel & Readiness) in understanding the impact of multiple combat deployments on soldier work satisfaction, quality of life and retention intentions.

Led team that developed a data mining tool that predicted the likelihood of a service member deciding to remain in the military.

Developed a syndicated research product for predicting movie box office performance from the analysis of Moviefone.com call data. Using regression-based data mining techniques, we were able to successfully predict opening week box office receipts for U.S. movie releases within 10 percent of their actual opening week box office.

Conducted primary market research for clients such as NBC Television, The Disney Company, and Universal Studios.

Conducted strategic research for National Public Radio's senior leadership using primary and secondary research data sources.
