Department of the Interior HQ Renovation, Washington, DC. MEP Inspector Phases I and II of 6 phase 1.3 million SF. federal building renovation. The project is a full historical renovation of office, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication and support spaces. Jacobs is providing CM services for the second wing, with options for the remaining wings. The overall building is nine stories (including basement and mechanical level). This comprehensive renovation involves architectural restoration, asbestos abatement, structural enhancements, HVAC, plumbing and electrical upgrades and significant IT, telecom, and security enhancements, the installation of fire/life safety equipment, and elevator repairs. Tenant fit-out activities have included construction of numerous high security/classified areas (SCIF and computer rooms). Roger’s responsibilities included preparation of daily reports, contractor consultation, coordination, and oversight of all MEP installations.

Discipline Leader - Jacobs has provided on-going services to FAA for 15 years. Under our current National A/E Design & Design/Build Services Contract with FAA, Jacobs provides renovations, expansions, and new facilities for some of the nation’s most critical infrastructure.
