WHY NURSING
For the past 5 years, I have been working as nurse. I have mainly specialized in caring for adults with mental health issues. Through working with adults with mental health issues I have discovered that people with mental health disorder truly need more care outside the hospital setting and there continues to be a lot of negative connotation associated with mental health. For these reasons, I wish continue to enhance my experience in the different aspects of mental health care as a nurse and also have received more formal education on how to better serve this underserved population group to become a provider for mental health care.
