Dear Eddie,

We are pleased to offer you the position of Production Operator in the Cutting department for Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi (YTMM). You will report toKathryn Brown, Manager, Human Resources. We believe that the Company will offer you a challenging opportunity that will undoubtedly utilize your expertise and experience, and we look forward to your anticipated start date of August 14, 2023. Wages: Your hourly pay rate will be $17.50/Hourly subject to tax withholding's and other deductions as required by law and the Company’s standard payroll practices. Paid Time Off: In addition to the Company Paid Holidays, you will receive 5 Floating Holidays on January 1st each year to be taken during the calendar year. Due to your hire date, you will receive 2 Floating Holidays for the remainder of 2022. You will also accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) in each paycheck. During your first ninety (90) days, PTO can be used only with the special approval of your manager.

Health Benefits: Your health benefits eligibility will commence on the first day of the following month from date of hire, which means your benefits effective date is September 1, 2023.

Retirement Benefits: You will be auto-enrolled into the 401(k) plan at a pre-tax contribution rate of 6% of your annual compensation and you will receive the regular company match of 50% up to 6% of eligible wages on your first employee contributions in your 401(k) account. After one year of continuous service, you will become eligible to receive company contributions of 3% safe harbor and 2% discretionary match of base and bonus wages. Introductory Period: The first 90 calendar days of employment with YTMM are considered an Introductory Period used to determine if a new team member’s performance successfully meets the expectations of the position. As an employee of YTMM you will be expected to abide by the Company rules and regulations. You will be required to sign and comply with the Employee Invention and Nondisclosure Agreement, which requires, among other things, assignment of patent rights to any invention made during your employment with YTMM and nondisclosure of proprietary information. Further, you agree that, in accepting a position and working at YTMM, you will not be violating any non-competition agreement or other contractual restriction on your employment from a prior employer.

This offer is contingent upon our verification of your business and personal references, successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, and the completion of a background check to be performed by a third party, the results of which must be satisfactory to the Company in its sole discretion. This offer is also subject to your submission of an I-9 form and the satisfactory documentation regarding your identification and right to work in the United States.

As is customary with YTMM employees and with employees of most other companies, you will not have an employment agreement with YTMM. In accepting our offer, you certify your understanding that your employment will be at an “at will” basis, and either you or YTMM may terminate the employment relationship at any time and for any reason whatsoever with or without notice. We do request that in the event of a resignation, you give the Company at least two-week’s notice. This letter constitutes the entire agreement between YTMM and you with respect to the terms of your offer of employment, supersede all prior written and oral communication with you on the subject, and can only be modified by written agreement signed and delivered by you and the Sr. Manager of Human Resources.
