General objectives include expansion of network capacity, improved traffic flow, increased safety, and reduced congestion, minimized travel times, and minimized potential environmental impacts. The Project consists of 1,398 plots, 23.3 km of road improvement, 19.8 km of Foul Sewer Drainage, 22.9 km of Surface Water Drainage and 10.3 kms of Treated Sewage Effluent System. Apart from drainage the system, improvement of other utility service-associated work such as laying and modification of Potable Water systems, Street lighting, Traffic Management systems, Telecom Networks, and Landscaping works are also included in the scope of work.

Duties and Responsibilities: •

Ensures that RFI responses and Field Change requests etc, are correctly implemented in the field

Review and issue all approved construction drawings and specifications; ensure that all outdated documents are revised. Maintains construction drawing and specification files.

Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses. demonstrate to review and justify technical proposals and evaluate their constructability, solving a technical problem that may rise during construction. Assign responsibilities to the Sr. /work inspectors and other site supervision staff for inspections and daily monitoring of construction activities related to utility construction.

• Under general supervision, performs routine duties. knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications. Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

• Report the site activities, progress, critical issues, and risks to Resident Engineer (Drainage).

• Monitor contractor's performance with baseline schedule.

• Keeping a track record of daily, weekly and monthly progress, bar Charts, specifications of site inspections and tests, work executed, etc.

• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with the approved Method statements, Project Quality Control Standards/ Contract Administration Procedures.
