· Led Eddie Bauer project team which developed an exclusive product line that was their best selling lighting design for 3 years.

· Developed and led a successful reorganization of global design communication procedures which vastly improved communication and coordination with China resulting in reduced lead-times, reduced product development costs and quicker commercialization of new designs. Fisher Price® - Children’s Design Dept. - Freelance Designer 1998 - 2001 Responsibilities

Provide support to team members while learning new skills through experience in each aspect of the product development and commercialization processes of Fisher Price®. Other job assignments included project work on baby monitors and strollers. Results

· Assisted in the development of a toddler’s portable play station and built many of the toy features for the play station. Generated draft of the costing drawings and assisted the creation of breadboards and prototype of the play station.

· Collaborated with the soft goods department and model makers on tubing bending for stroller models and other prototypes. Drafted on a Mac using Vellum and created marker renderings.

Hasbro Toy Group – Girls Toys Group - Freelance Designer 1999 - 2001 Responsibilities

Provide support to team members while learning new skills through experience in each aspect of product development and project management processes of Hasbro/Kenner. Results

• Designed, developed and managed My Little Pony™ and Wedding Chapel™ play set projects from concept to commercialization. Product went to production in 1998.

• Designed a package concept for “Girl Tech” toy line. Created etch art and other for toy line using Adobe Illustrator™

• Illustrated toy concepts for Star Wars© license using marker renderings of plush toy figures. Designed and built a presentation display for this project. Gibson Greetings – Freelance Designer 1999 - 2001

· Provided assistance to design team members as freelance contractor.

· Designed a dry erase board for the Star Trek© license. Freelance work for the licensed products division, included paste up and 2-d product design. Hill Rom Medical - Freelance Designer 1999 - 2001
