1. Phone prospecting; managed 100+ existing accounts. Worked the healthcare market for 9 years, and non-healthcare for 4 years.

2. Healthcare market is 25 beds or more acute care hospitals which are contracted through various Group Purchasing Organizations (HealthTrust, Vizient, etc.) Introduced our Tronex PPE contracts (for disposable gloves, facial protection, apparel, and elastic bandages.) Educated hospitals on better value items and the benefits of using contracted vendors like Tronex for these items, also through product sampling. I was the first sales person to sell N95 masks.

3. Among the healthcare accounts I converted and managed were UMMC, University of Rochester Medical Center, Diagnostic Laboratory Services, and Franciscan Alliance, all of which have numerous affiliates.

4. Brought on board medical distributors (to supply my various hospitals with Tronex product), such as Medline, Seneca Medical, and Kreisers.

5. The non-healthcare market is composed of food manufacturers and distributors, janitorial distributors, chemical manufacturers, and hospitality.

6. Blind cold-called companies from our various lists in Salesforce.

7. Got information of the brand of disposable gloves they used, the types of gloves they used (latex, vinyl, Nitrile, etc.), and their ordering quantities and frequencies.

8. Prepared price quotes based upon quantity usages, and sent product samples with literature.

9. Among the accounts I brought on were Daylight Foods, Veritiv, Rutter’s Farm Stores, FB Purnell Sausage, HMR Enterprises, Paramount Distributors, Metro Bag, and Atlantic Packaging.

10. Among the national accounts I managed were Harrah's and Marriott. I was the first (and only) sales person to sell to Hawaii. I brought on and managed VIP Food Service in Kahului, HI for virtually my entire career at Tronex.
