Mechanical Design Engineer -- Responsibilities include: Engineering support for various mechanical and vacuum street sweeper productions. Troubleshooting assembly issues, redesigning existing components for DFMA. Designing new truck kits for use on various chassis, performing first article inspection, supervision of installation on first build.

●Mechanical lead engineer for an all-electric mechanical sweeper. Responsibilities include: Design concept, 3D models for all parts & assemblies, 2D drawings, conducting design reviews, managing design tracking schedules, working closely with cross functioning team members

Aerovironment - January 2023 to May 2023 (6 month contract)

Mechanical Design Engineer -- Responsibilities include: Trouble shooting and designing a fix for an inflight failure due to extreme climate changes on a solar powered manless cell plane. Constructing 3D assembly of a new 400 foot solar powered manless cell plane. Designed installation for all flight instrumentation. These duties consisted of generating new part models and associated detail drawings, generating tooling design models and associated detail drawings, assembly models of the complete aircraft and associated assembly drawings. All scope of work was generated using SolidWorks.

Tyonek Manufacturing – September 2019 to August 2022

Mechanical Engineer III -- Responsibilities include: Engineering design, management and support on various designs for all military helicopters and drones. Worked closely with our own machine shop to help ensure a quality product was designed and machined efficiently. Generated 3D models, assemblies, drawings and Bill of Materials associated with all projects using SolidWorks. All models and drawings were in accordance with industry standards, ASME Y14.5, ASME Y14.41 and Military DOD-STD-00100D standards.

●Mechanical Lead Engineer for Army Tank Autoloader contract. Responsibilities include: Design concept, 3D models for all parts, assemblies and 2D drawings, Personal Interaction with the Customer, Project management, Supervised Prototype, Validation and Verification throughout the project.

NTS (National Technical Systems) – October 2016 to June 2018

Mechanical Engineer -- Responsibilities include: Design and support for various mechanical test systems ranging from small mechanical equipment such as a door knob tester to large support structures for a 50ft drop of a helicopter. Generated all associated solid models, assemblies, drawings, and documentation. Also provided drafting support for various electrical drawings, diagrams and schematics.

Dynetics, Inc. – February 2015 to July 2015 (Contract Position)

Mechanical Engineer II -- Responsibilities include: Engineering design, 3D printing, generating solid models, drawings, and documentation for all designs, testing and implementing new designs, and providing support for new and current products. Software conjunctions with this project was SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM.

●Engineering design and support of Radar systems for the US Air Force and US Marine Corps as well as the Power Distribution and Communications Shelter.

●Detailed mechanical design focused on numerous aspects within the shelter and radar system, including power entry, lightning protection, and sensitive equipment storage during various transportation methods.

Pro/Engineer CAD Designer -- Responsibilities include: Provided design and engineering support to NASA at MSFC for the Structural and Mechanical Branch, EV32, on integration of the Upper Stage (US) for the Ares I Crew Launch Vehicle.
