November 2014 to July 2023 - Productivity Engineer Tech II.

As Productivity Engineer Tech II, I am responsible for the development and implementation of effective methods and procedures to optimize floor operations. I conduct evaluations and Time Studies of existing methods and workflows to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and cost reduction. Help to support production and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) projects, I prepare concept drawings, facility layouts, and workstation layouts. Furthermore, I work closely with operating management to perform performance analyses, demonstrating improvements in associate productivity, as measured by Units Per Hour (UPH).

Responsible for maintaining Engineering labor standards and increasing production while minimizing waste hours, conducting time studies, and collecting work sampling data. I collaborate with Operations Managers and Supervisors throughout the development and implementation of the best methods, standard conditions, and engineering labor standards.

I have worked on different types of projects for the distribution center at the network level, resulting in increased production, fewer wasted hours, and cost savings for Ross Distribution Centers.

I was a volunteer to help and support the opening of the new distribution center located in Katy TX, Perris CA, and Moreno Valley CA where I was in charge of validating the standards and creating PR (Production Record) for the associates, we also started with new standards for new areas using new technologies that will help increase the UPH of the associates.
