Federal Realty Property Manager June 2019-Present

· Oversees the operations and general manager responsibilities for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties, of approximately 683,000 SF (55 acres) in Oakland, Emeryville, and San Ramon.

· Responsible for implementing, forecasting, and successfully executing annual operational budgets, capital expenditure projects, property development initiatives, routine, annual and 5year maintenance plans, as well as seeking opportunities to maximize the efficiency of various services within the portfolio to reduce unnecessary operational costs.

· Directs and manages various personnel at each location (structural engineers, street sweeping operators, lighting/LED retrofit contractors, security teams, pavement and asphalt providers, landscaping contractors, janitorial staff, solar and sustainability vendors, plumbing service providers, sewer and grease pumping contractors, waste management services, building and maintenance personnel, etc.) as well as internal, corporate, administrative staff and operational staff.

· Aids in the handling of public relations issues, within corporate guidelines.

· Implements comprehensive waste and recycling programs for our West Coast Properties to reduce operational costs, increase our ESG goals, as well as bring our California properties up to code, with respect to the State’s aggressive waste diversion initiatives.

· Works closely with our Vice President of Sustainability, and Sr. Director of Asset Management overseeing the implementation of waste reduction programs for our national corporate portfolio, tailored specifically to address the needs for each, unique property, seeking opportunities to maximize the efficiency of each location’s, individual waste stream and reduce operational costs. · Maintained General Manager responsibilities for NewPark Mall and Southland Mall under the Sr. GM of both locations, managing the day-to-day activities of the facilities as well as overseeing the operations and management of hundreds of construction contractors during an extensive mixed commercial and residential redevelopment at both properties.
