Logistics Command and Control (Log C2) Log C2 is one of eight emerging capabilities in the AF/A4 Enterprise Flight Plan. It will provide the ability to orchestrate Logistics and Sustainment across the Enterprise. Logistics leaders with decision making authority will use the near-real time Common Operating Picture (COP) to plan, execute and monitor robust Logistics and Sustainment directly supporting kinetic and non-kinetic operations across the range of military operations. Integrated fully into the Joint Logistics Community and under the principles of Agile Combat Support, Command and Control and Reach Back, the power of the AF Logistics Enterprise will flex to rapidly recover, reconfigure and adapt to changing requirements while instantaneously aggregating, disaggregating and re-aggregating Mission Generating forces in Anti-Access/Area Denial environments.
Log C2 has a CSAF approved CONOPS and is currently under-going gap analysis as well as COP prototype development. Set the Theaters (StT). StT is one of eight emerging capabilities in the AF/A4 Enterprise Flight Plan. It will reassess the Logistics Enterprise’s capability to globally posture support for contingency operations.
Currently, StT is focused on PACAF and USAFE. AFSC is working as the integrator to help validate requirements for BEAR, AGE, Airfield Damage Repair, Vehicles, Fuels Support Equipment, and SFS for both theaters.
Wargaming LGO is also tasked with AFSC’s wargame and exercise participation.
The wargaming role is leveraged to test Log C2 concepts, while the exercise role is focused on emergency and contingency response readiness.
